Sandy Walsh
Founder and CEO
Sandy is Founder and CEO of Shared Purpose Advisory (SPA). She is an experienced general manager and sustainability practitioner with 30 years of private sector experience, including more than 20 years based in Asia.
Prior to establishing SPA, Sandy was the Director for Social Innovation at Cisco, a leading global technology company. As head of the Social Innovation group, Sandy led an Asia Pacific-wide team responsible for designing and implementing innovative and scalable social impact programs that helped address the effects of digital disruption in the region. Programs focused on critical issues including youth education & employment, workforce re-training, gender equality, fostering entrepreneurship and closing the digital divide.
Sandy has extensive experience in building and managing cross-sector partnerships for development, working closely with governments, academia, the United Nations, international development organisations and the non-profit sector.
Sandy has a passion to help business connect its success with social progress, and to harness their significant expertise and assets to create positive social impact in partnership with an engaged development sector.
Sandy is a regular speaker and panelist at regional conferences and events and holds a B.A. in Communications from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology, Australia.
Tony Watts

Tony has 30 years’ communications experience as a writer, journalist, editor, photographer and publisher.
With a background in consumer lifestyle editorial, Tony has applied his compelling storytelling style to assist a range of clients from multi-national corporations to the non-profit sector.
His stories have been published by leading magazines and newspapers in the region such as Expat, Tatler, Straits Times and The Edge. He has produced corporate communications for multinationals including the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore, Rolls-Royce, and Porsche, helping communicate the unique selling points of his clients’ products and services.
He has also created digital media content designed to improve SEO ratings.
More recently, he has applied this private-sector experience to serve the NGO sector, producing press releases, success stories, web content and annual reports.
Tony believes all people should be empowered to achieve their full potential, regardless of their backgrounds; and that growth requires sustainable ecological development.
He has a B.A. in Humanities from LaTrobe University, Melbourne.
